Diamond Day

Brilliant day sailing. The wind was blowing hot, strong and gusty from the south so the water was completely flat but Katie L was reefed right down. The rocks create a series of small bays all along this coast. There are hundreds of seals around - many are very curious about the boat. Gannets always brighten things up as well. Just one fin from a single dolphin spotted.

Tomorrow I am going back to Tayport to pick up the car - the wind is gusting 31 mph in the afternoon so not a bad day to be on a bus or hitching a ride
