Maldon film released

Every time I look at the old films I realise how much the style of them has changed

they used to be short items - five minutes long. The latest films run at about 20 minutes oor more. They feel more comfortable to me at the longer length.

The adverts have started appear on the films and there is some revenue stream - if you want to avoid adverts then the website is still set up so that subscribers can download or watch the films without the adverts - no adverts on the dvds obviously.

I remember being a child living in england and walking to school in fog that was so dense it seemed to envelope you like a blanket. I really miss that. Out here in the praries we never see fog like that, let alone having the wonderfull smell of the water at the same time.

You know, Dylan, you have a great eye for visuals that bring back the real joys of being on the water. So many little details remind me of times both good and not so good spent on the water – the only thing missing from your Maldon items is the smell of Blackwater mud, and I’ll gladly forgo that! Great and sympathetic choice of music and realistic, if sometimes somewhat jaundiced comments – but hey! Why not?
I for one shall maintain my subscription – it’s good fun to just browse through the site and just replay odd items that catch my fancy for a few minutes of selfish escapism…
    Sail on, old son!
