Those of us who go down to the sea in small craft on a tight budget like to save costs by avoiding overnighting in marinas, choosing instead the shelter and solitude of quiet rivers and creeks.
Most will not have heaters aboard except for the welcome warmth irradiated when boiling a kettle for a brew raising cabin temperature to a cosy level on a chilly evening. Unfortunately boiling a kettle only lasts about ten minutes!
This compact and ingenious heater works on the same principle by using four inexpensive tea candles which will burn for over four hours and depending on the size of your cabin one or two can be used quite safely without the worry of asphyxiation.
Simply place the heater in a safe position, drop in four tea candles, place the stainless steel heating element on top and warmth similar to that generated by the sides of a boiling kettle will soon bring up your cabin temperature to a comfortable level on a damp and chilly evening.
Simple, Durable, Rust Free. A must for keeping aboard in UK waters.
Happy bidding sailors!
I saw this as well. Wonder who’ll win the bidding, and how much of an idiot they’ll feel afterwards. Maybe you could get rid of some of your flowerpots the same way, without letting swmbo know you’ve tipped her plants out first.

Wonder if it’s the same people who bid on the diy snowman kit when some funny person took a picture of his back garden covered with snow. Did make me chuckle as people will bid on anything on eBay .
Look forward to more instalments of the ktl trip
My daughter has just noticed that there are two more of these great little boat heaters for sale. Just 6 days to go. Don’t miss your chance to get it on a great deal…… Hope he doesn’t flood the market because the price could tumble and his profit margins cool. Probably couldn’t believe the first one sold and as I’m guessing that the bowls come in packs of three from poundland thought he’d get rid of the rest.
The DIY snowman kit was a properly brilliant idea though.
Uh oh. It’s infectious. She’s just asked me to sell her plastic spade on e-bay as a DIY sandcastle kit.
I saw this – I bet his dog’s gagging for a drink! Mine’s looking worried that I might turn her water bowl into cash!
