Boatyard diary 13/04/15 14.00

It is still windy and cold - the wind  continues to come at us from the West and spends the night bashing against the hatch boards. I had bits of paper in to keep them quiet last night but today dawning lovely bright cold windy  and I cycled to Crammond - delightful.

I turned up the river  Almond and found myself carrying the bike up a long flight of wooden steps - and then down another lot to get back to the river.

Not bored yet. Boats, water, birds, bike, books and Mr Web - good place to be

Granton Harbour looks great in the right light

That’s Cramond Boat Club at the quay. Used to be a good dinghy club and I remember racing in their regatta many years ago.

Good to see you are getting around my old city

it looks like a magnificent place to keep a boat

I wish this wind would quit though. The prortacabin is swaying in the wind

The Cramond Inn was a great pub (haven’t been for a few years, mind) and you can walk out to the island at low tide. Hope the wind sits down soon.
