Centaur Hull condition

I put sikaflex in the keel joints and used the cheapest antifoul I could find in Toolstation. Both worked pretty well.

    Hi Dylan,
The reason the antifouling did not work so well on the rudder was because it was washed off by the propeller wash. Being soft antifouling the speed of the water thrust upon it washed it away.

Toolstation are great. I’ve bought loads of stainless fixings off them for different jobs over the past year. I love the fact you can buy 200 stainless screws from them for less than you can buy a pack of 5 from some chandlers.

I’ve bought yacht varnish from them but never realised they did anti-foul. Thanks for the tip.
