    Check out:

Oar Rithe at half tide. Sometimes you can see seals there.

A flock of little birds has taken up residence on a very shabby wharram cat in Girte Rithe.

    Bosham Church viewed from Chidham

Prinstead mud flats at low water

Mid-day high water = lunch at the Crown and Anchor at Dell Quay.

    You have alot to see.

Great film, if you have the chance it would be interesting to revisit some KTL 0 and see how things have changed.
I have been looking at the visit my harbour site and their dire warnings about crossing the Thames, are you planning to stay offshore from N foreland to Harwich or take the inshore route?

I wish I was less than 18 hours from a coast… tides and salt water.

I just don’t know how you blokes cope – no winter sailing, no tides… best buy a horse or snowmobile instead of a boat

balmy for us – you big softy kiwi man – you have spent too long down there. Any day when it does not train much and we get to see the sun is a good sailing day

    Wow what a crazy marina,
Even the east cost doesn’t have fully drying Marin’s that look like a regular marina when the tide is high.
I guess that is what a marina would look like if they ever let one at west Mersea ( not Lilkely)

In chich harbour there are at least two drying marinas and three with sills where they water is retained but the access channel dries

I prefer them to 24 hour access marinas – cheaper and nice neighbours – more bird life as well. I enjoy the tidal cycles
