I am a guru… in Sweden

my favourite Swedish Mirror offshore sailors

Dylan Winter - Mirror offshore diesel yacht Hedda and Ryds dinghy 225 Beda - Moz_2014-04-08_08-28-20

take a look at their website

HEDDA - Mirror offshore diesel yacht Hedda and Ryds dinghy 225 Beda - Mozilla Fi_2014-04-08_08-30-19

they do make some remarkable videos

all available here

http://kaptenkarlsson.dinstudio.se/empty_6.html

the films are best consumed with whisky or perhaps with some other sort of organic smoking material

the films are in Swedish but they sound like poetry when he describes the scenery - they are inland sailors and spend their time pootling around somewhere that looks astonishingly like the Norfolk Broads and their boat is painted in the weirdest way - thay also eat mushrooms

This is about Dylan Winter's Blog, Sailing around Britain.

Some may say the boat’s a bit ‘over fettled’…but anyone who’s got a washing machine and fish tank in their bathroom is OK in my book.

Thanks for introducing the Kapten to us Dylan….I hope you meet one day.

    Cheers.

Sailing is easier in Sweden, we dont have any tide, so we just have 42. :)

but tides are wonderful – like a river that flows in two different directions – and the wildlife they encourage is astonishing

The fishtank and the washing machine belongs to me, Crew Trygg. It’s not Skipper Karlssons apartment. We are not married, we are living in different places and have the boat in the lake Mälaren wich is between us, we have over an hours drive to the boat from each home. So when we meet on weekends we meet at the boat. I live in the small pastoral village Bie with my four cats. I have more things in the bathroom: An argentine plastic cuckoo clock made in People’s Republic of China for example.
Watch the video “Four heavy Cats and an old dumpy man in a small pastoral village” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5QWGTe7H3pE
An experience you never forget. :)
