Looks amazing! It seems to be fitted with wok friendly ironmongery – and a carry handle.
Just so long as it still boils a full kettle from cold in 7 minutes.

Bugger!! So it was you pushing the bidding………………… oh well, I’ll just have to keep using the primus
i started the bidding, but don’t really need the thing yet so wasn’t prepared to go higher……………….. engine spares are a greater priority at the mo
You can still get the old flavoured Cookmates/Origos from Germany – if you know someone over there to deliver to. I got mine from Compass 24 before they pulled out of the UK a couple of years ago. In fact, reminds me I put the kettle on an 1/2 hour ago – should be about boiled now! Must dash.
Bought one of those brand new at Newark jumble this year for £70. Never been lit. still in box with £216 price tag. Might get to fit it if I ever get the boat finished!
What a coincidence, I wonder if we will be hearing any Peacock Angell set as background music in future KTL movies…. especially the on board gourmet sequences.
Nice one!
I like the Pan clamp idea, We have the model before and it is very good.Lady can turn out a proper dinner, with all the vegetables and gravy. I trust that you will be expanding your cookery series to reflect the potential of your new stove.
I made the comment about your “Exploder” camp stove in the other thread before getting to this. Seems you are already sorting that :-)
I have a Cookmate on the boat we bought in June. It’s good. Need to buy fuel what do you recommend and where do you buy it. The marina sells method @ £3.00 for 500ml and I don’t want to pay this much!
Thanks for the information. I’ll order some when we get back to Yorkshire from the Solent. You should have see the look I got when I asked for Meths at the Morrisons fuel station here at Newport IoW. I didn’t think I looked the sort who would drink the stuff.
