KTL Vlog 124 – things to fix – the list gets longer

It took about six weeks to fix the engine mounts and it is easy to think job done - but the slug is an old boat and there is still lots to fix

There is a saying in Dutch: “Koop een Boot en Werk je Dood”. Losely translated it’s like “Get a boat and you will have to work forever and a day” (doesn’t ryme very well in English, well too bad.)

It aplies to you (and to me too, unfortunately).

    Hang in there!

So tell us: what did Simon teach you about light? Anything applicable to the Xacti?

Just got back from a 3-day sail and have some footage to work with.

There’s always something to fix or tweek onmy boat. That’s just how it is, I guess.

Maria wants me to sell my boat! Can’t Can’t Can’t sell the seagull ! What am I to do? Thought about this the last two weeks and came up with an idea. WIll haul her off to my friends house, get her in shape (i.e., the boat, not Maria) and then I’ll play a horse at Monmouth Park, hit it big, and tell her my winnings are the money I got from the sale. What d’you think? Good plan or what? –Ray

Fame at last eh? PS disc of wash photos is on it’s way I promise, just have all those pesky clients to deal with first.

I hope you didn’t get too much grief from the bridge man and harbour master, jumping red lights indeed.
