Penny sure has a look I could get used to: auburn hair and green eyes, my favorite! Hope you get to the Humber as I have a great fascination for the area based on readings. Never relaunched after the hurricane, and it’s cooling off fast in Maine, so my season is over. Just enough time left to finish staining the east side clapboards and build a wood pile for the winter. I think it’s going to be a tough one over here.

Always interesting to plan a tricky passage, and such a feeling of accomplishment when you carry it off, eh? all the best to you….

Ahh Chuck, further north than myself. I would like to have another 2 months before I end the season. My Cal21 washed off it’s mooring by another boat and a large log in the Rondout Creek. Ended up about five miles south on the Hudson. But miraculously saved and now in my back yard with minimum damage. Was funny to hear Dylan talk about Irene. But who the hell is Penny?

we often get your cast off storms – they arrive here a week or more after you guys have finished with them. The upside is that the sun is often shining here when you are going through hell. Penny is the violin player in Pennyless – have a look at their website for more pix and samples of their work. http://www.pennyless-music.co.uk. Always been a sucker for a woman with a violin.

That bar would have been a bit unnerving especially when you are on your own and of course the video makes it look a lot better than it was at the time, bet you had a stiff drink when you got in. You should give the engine a hug as well.
    Well done

Enjoyed this very much. I had a Honda just like yours and found it to be too loud. I traded it in on a Suzuki http://www.newsuzukioutboards.com/Suzuki-2.5-hp-DF2.5S.html

Much less noise and burns less gas. Just thought I would give your readers an alternative. Thanks so much for bringing your travels to the masses all over the world. My son in law from “Blackheath” England (near Greenwich) also likes to travel with you in your films. Keep the films coming.
