I have enjoyed reading and watching KTL on YBW Forums and I had intended to join before. My resistance was having to pay by Paypal. I use it so seldom that passwords become an issue.I generally avoid paying that way. I know you need a safe payment route, but is this one reason only fewer GB readers have coughed up?. Anyway I have now thought it worth re-setting the Paypal monster so I am pleased to be here.
Good films and commentary, an easier way to flow from one clip to another might be useful on the site?

thanks for that. I think the Americans are more at home with internet money than we are – and they have much better bandwidths – in general. Not sure about linking the films. The seasons are in order. The vlogs are more or less in order and the scuttlebutt is all over the shop.

Best not to watch too much at once I reckon. Ration them a bit. Some people download them and watch them on their laptops on the boats. Love the idea of that. Some bloke in a Florida marina wearing a flowery shirt, drinking julaps (whatever they are) and watching films about muddy ditches in Essex.

Enjoying watching your films, should have joined much earlier. Any particular reason why you have appeared to miss out the Stour and Sandwich?

    missed faversham as well

at that time I was planning to get around the UK in two years – but I started have such fun that I decided to slow down

actually I got stuck on the medway for six weeks – and realised what a great river it is

so I decided to stay places until I had properly explored them

I won’t really end the trip until I get to Brightlingsea again -it was then that I started filming in HD

so I will pick up all those other rivers I missed

if we both live that long

Dylan, Paypal is the greatest thing since sliced whatever! When I first signed up I couldn’t figure out how to “scroll” from episode to episode, but then I noticed the links at the top of the page and all’s well, except it takes so long for my internet connection to download each that I am a bit frustrated at the time, not that I am of a stinkpot frame of mind, mind you. Best, ralph
PS Do you have any other ralph’s on here?

Ralph, I think you are a one-off and unique on KTL

you can download sseveral films at once

sometimes the internet service provider chokes large files

but you can get around it by downloading six at once overnight

the next morning – bingo…. 90 minutes of ktl ready to roll

I think I’ll have to put a visit to Ramsgate on my list, now. So nice to see that someone is still playing the glockenspiel….
