Sailing on a canal

I took the Duck Punt down onto the Aylesbury Canal - which was not frozen this time. I sailed two miles down and paddled back - all without turning the boat around.

The mast step fell apart and one of my fillets broke apart but I had a wonderful time

I also managed to put it onto the patent fender roof rack and take it down my myself

the paint on the bottom is garage floor paint - and very good it is too

Finally the cock-ups

The punt looks great! I very much want to build one now– what did it cost you all in you think?

BTW – That canal has very pretty countryside. You live in a very beautiful place.
