Another great episode. I particularly like the daily progress, and thereby the reality of being stuck in Tobermory/Balamory for two days, makes the journey even more meaningful. The sight and sound of the boat surging in the swell was wonderful, and I am sure that I could smell the bacon and egg sarnies, so much so that when the film was finished I just had to dash down to the galley (kitchen) and make myself one. Keep up the good work.

food tastes good on board – either at anchor, underway or safely snugged up to a pontoon

It was a wonderful sail – it was particularly sweet after two days of rain.

Is this idea working as a way of posting films….

As Ted says, it brings it home how long it takes to do 250 miles in scottish waters.

I have yet to release these films on youtube and am thinking of starting the series on friday – see if I can get some youtubists hooked. If they want to see the next six films they will be on here.

gotta try something new every now and again.

Magic. As a teaser for the longer films, I’d say they work really well. If you can drive the Youtubists in this direction, even better.

I think they’re great, Dylan. Definitely makes you want to watch the next one, then the next…. It’s like reading a good book, you can’t put it down. I reckon they would do well on Youtube. Of course, not all Youtubers are 70………….
