Immovable Morphine Mark and Muppetry

Hi Dylan

I have attached a few snaps of Athena as requested.  This is what she looked like when we bought her and fettling and maintenance is not my thing – she looks a little older now.

Why did I send money:

I bust my leg skiing last year (very badly – the break and skiing were very bad).  I lost the season sailing and I am just about boat fit again now.  Athena has been out of action too for all of last season due to a fuel tank failure and some muppetry in the repair.

I spent a fair chunk of my time laid up in an invalid state watching your vids propped up with pillows and morphine.  They were a real tonic.  I sent a bit of an offering to you then in appreciation.

I have less time to watch now and I catch up from time to time.  I watch other channels on youtube but frankly they appear to be as much soft porn as sailing.  I was humoured by the Channel Two Afloat Sailing. They ran a film describing how to treat a boil on the arse infection at sea before sepsis takes hold – It was very informative.  It is currently ranking 50 odd thousand views a later film entitled Fear and Nudity is on 200 thousand views.  Bonkers.

As you say your vids are a bit unique and concentrate on the type of sailing I would like to have the time to do. Worth the cash in my opinion.

Have you investigated funding from other sources such as the tourist board of Scotland (or whatever they call themselves)?  I would have thought you would easily meet the original mandate of the BBC charter are there no commissions available?  I know how painful trying to communicate with these people may well be but it would be amazing if they could offer a silver bullet funding solution.

Best Regards

Mark

She looks like an Achilles of some sort. Possibly an 840?

On second thoughts it is probably an Achilles 900 with .replacement windows.
