I listened to all your Hack goes.. series Dylan and they inspired a real love of audio. I always had a vain hope you’d release this. So delighted to find this. Thanks and good luck in all your trips..

thanks – they were some life changing adventures. I will leave this up until some-one from the BBC comes along and tells me to take them down. In the meantime… feel free to download them and squirrel them away or even better post them on another server….. set the digits free to roam the interweb

Hay Dylan , I believe u have the best customer surport know to man. Well done for repairing no 8 so quick, although I kind of wish I stopped at number 7. After u tell of the sad advent I really felt depressed. What where ur real feelings bout that if u don’t mind me asking? Also I work on Builing sites every working day of my life but u r a far harder man than I, I really could not leave the two companions u had behind I really think I would of put my self in the red to ship them + leaving ur family for 6 months (not that I have one yet) must really pull both ur arms in opisit directions.

I hope this is not a spoiler and do delet if need be

    Best wish and fair winds

you should have written earlier… I have just sacked the whole department for incompetence. They were crying but you have to cruel to be kind when it comes to staff.

As for the car crash I still have flashbacks to the event – after all this time.

as for the horses…. I went back to see them after about five years. Needless to say they did not know me from a gbar of soap.

    really missed my family though

I was discussing this series, that I had heard when first broadcast, with a horse loving friend.
When searching the internet for more details i could pass on I discovered this site. Thank you for publishing again, I look forward to going back 20 + years and I am sure my friend will be delighted with your adventure.
I can still remeber your sentiments as you said goodbye to one of the horses.

I trust things are well with you and yours

    Regards

    Tony

    cheers Tony

best download them as I assume the BBC will want me to take them down when they find out they are up

as for the horses – Rocky was the best horse I have ever ridden

I went back to see them five years later – I was over there for a job

Rocky was a kids rodeo pony and Toland was in the hands of a lovely couple who did a lot of trail rising

both horses looked glossy and in good nick

I can’t listen to that last prog – nor the car crash one

too upsetting still 20 years on

    Dylan,
I remember listening to these back in ’92 during my Uni days and loved them. I’ve often thought about them since and am so glad to find them here. Fabulous work by you.

    All the best,
    Alan

    Hi

You might sell a few more books if the link worked. All those underscores need to be dashes.

Is there more of your radio work on the web?

Best wishes and thanks for all the films.

I enjoyed the series. The bull frog discovery was especially funny. I appreciate the permission to use energy for air conditioning. It’s especially useful here in Dallas. And you got me thinking about ice tea. I think it serves the same purpose as hot tea in England. It’s good for compensating for the temperature a little bit, it provides a minor stimulant for dealing with the boredom, and it’s a good excuse for a minor social ritual. It’s just that it gets much hotter in much of the US than it ever gets in England.

My Oregon Trail adventure started with my travel averse wife divorcing me, me purchasing a four wheel drive camper van to go camping with my son and daughter, and then getting an involuntary sabbatical from my job. I drove to Alaska and back. The first 10 percent of the trip was on the Oregon Trail. my kids and I have fond memories of it. I had to lure my son on the trip by installing a Sega Dreamcast and an early flat panel display in the camper van. The Big Ugly Van was a Ford E350 with a 6.8 liter V10 with 320 HP. I could violate the speed limit up every mountain pass I encountered. Your way was more of an adventure, but I’m glad I went, and this brings back memories.
