Dylan, what a really really great start to my Sunday morn. Now off to buy my paper, and then back for a bacon and egg butty. Thanks for all this. Like with a good book the time has come for me to slow down the read or it will be finished all too soon. Ted
Ive been around the longway several times, looking forward to the Crinan for the first time just after Easter and pre max midge season.
Thanks Dylan, looking forward to the Kyles one of my very favorite places, so far.
I’m not entirely comfortable with the word but that film was utterly ‘charming’…
I loved the Groundhog Day vibe going through the first few locks and the natural sounds coming from the guys who work around them., lovely.
And please tell me I’m not going daft but have you changed the physical location where you record your voice overs?
Lovely film….please turn around and do it again!….
Richard
I don’t see a lot of places for the boat in the marinas to haul out for winter….. do they stay in all winter?
Bit rough on the boats if they do……
Love the look of that wood pilothouse yacht with you in the locks
Just the ticket for that climate….

I was going to say Brunel but that’s not right.
I’ll just say thanks for the birds at the end…….

Surprised you didn’t give any background of the history of the canal, so here it is.

Therefore only 9.9 out of 10….
Well your video was better than my experience today. I thought the Crinan was dull, not much in the way of scenery, people were nice though. Glad to be out of it, and the midges, not a patch on the Caledonian Canal.
Hi Dylan, ‘Arisaig to Glasgow Day 10’ won’t play, says ‘video is unavailable’
