ran out of budget in january – there is enough material on the hard drive for ten more films… then unless I can find a way of turning it around that will be the end of that. Lots more bikini sailors eager to entertain you on youtube though.

If you don’t like that film, you have a dead heart, and might as well be dead.

    Brilliant…

Scotland should buy this film and use it as an ad for tourism…

I didn’t have to wait till the end. I knew what the film was from the beginning. Sad and many thanks.

    thanks Susan,

the song has been rattling around in my head for a few days so I thought that I would illustrate it in some way. It did not mean that much to me until I spent that time in Scotland.

Melancholic but not moribund — got the message across that’s for sure.

Wonderful Dylan, that’s a bit of magic, I’m going to watch it again now.
You are an artist, do not stop!
    Thank you

I am fit and keen enough to continue – and rest assured, if I can find a way without selling the house then I will do that….. I am sure there is a way.

    Ten more films to come.

Currently working on Loch Eribol – a most curious place.

Very moving, nice to see the low tide shots, its all about the mud and sand sculptures for me. Natures art captured by an naturalist artist-sailor.

I do like sailing close to the edge that is for sure – and I love to see the geography that is revealed at low tide

    Brilliant!

You must have spent a lot of time in Scotland to enable you to produce this film without sight of horizontal rain and dark grey days (good edits). What you have captured is magnificent and is why I love living here. Please consider another short film but with Deacon Blue’s “Dignity” as the backing track.

Started this video on the laptop, which was connected to the telly via wireless. Looked up from the laptop screen to the big TV and… my god, the colors! A Rembrandt from start to finish, backed by the soaring melodies of a musical magician. Sublime.

    You’ve outdone yourself, Dylan.

thats the ticket – they all look better on the big telly

There was at least 5 mins of sunshine here today, the rest was dreich though, just film when the sun is out.

I recognised some of the views but not the tan sails.

Many thanks Dylan – a great film and an excellent reminder of why we used to travel so far to get here in years gone by. I’m sure you’ll be back – once it gets a hold of you it doesn’t let go and you’ll find a way.
