Crossbow – bit of an oddity

I have been clearing things out while preparing the site for pay as you go on the proper films

I have been removing stuff from my Amazon server where the odd video file has resided for almost a decade.

I came across this little section which I filmed when back on the broads

Rather interesting I think

This is about Sailing around Britain.

Dunno if its any good, but saw this on ebay, and thought of you. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nordic-8-1-Motor-Sailer/303213676618?hash=item4698f1884a:g:RWEAAOSwef9dHywu Hope the summer has gone well on sailing. Not been anywhere in my kayak, yet, but I’ve a week off soon

While no doubt a nice boat, it lacks the flexibility of a two mast rig for the old guy doing his single handed sailing. I guess that we shall all have to be very patient until the “moment” arrives. Btw where is he?

I drove 1000 KM to meet a Frenchman who was advertising a Fisher 25 that had not moved for a decade. The boat was okay – the Frenchman was not. he was a bit of a scoundrel.

It is a terrible story…. now home after another 1000 km. I will write the story up for you chaps – once I have been out on the Deben in the dinghy and put it all into context

I thought there may have been an ulterior motive for the French trip….. and during the first week of Wimbledon Fortnight as well !

Your powers of persuasion are beyond question Mr Winter !
