Dornoch

I drove up yesterday - 500 miles - micra

full of stuff, two bikes, two lots of bedding, few tools,

what can I say!

£50 petrol

hard going.

I set off this morning at about 9.30 from Lossiemouth

sailed across to Dornoch - 22 miles = pretty much due west - wind was sw - reaching and fetching - about an hour of motor sailing

now I am just off Inver bay and waiting for the tide to come up enough to let me in

light fading now

four candles - four layers

fabulous skies this evening

fekkin raining though

Annual family holiday tomorrow for a week. Scotland. Tried to avoid finding out about the weather using the magical formula that if I don’t know about any rain it won’t rain. Then I read your last comment. Damn!
    Magical bubble burst.
    I’ll get my coat.

For the same reason you wouldn’t have a beaver on your boat – it’s no otter.
