Nearly 3-million views?? …For spoiled tinned fish?

It is a Swedish/Finnish delicacy, not spoiled but fermented herring. An acquired taste. The smell is such that it is banned from apartment blocks and other closed areas, and I believe not allowed on passenger flights. Great stuff!

Gah!! And I thought my relatives’ lutefisk was awful.

Jarred pickled picnic herring in wine-sauce is about my limit for such delicacies.

I am not sure how I would cope with the genuine stuff. I do like pickled herring, especially the version with dill. Make me dribble to just think of it!
