    they will make the birds much more cautious around me that is for sure. I am always rather sad to see men who look at the miracle of those thousands of geese and feel their trigger finger start to twitch

    what is wrong with just enjoying the miracle going on in the sky over our heads?

    They make laugh, all dressed up in their combat gear and boats to match. You’re right , Ted, they look like some of the people we see in American videos of “good ole boys” in the deep south (hope I’ve got that right). When they’re not shooting geese they probably walk the streets with huge fang-bearing hounds with spiked collars on chain leads scaring the wotsits out of the local population.
    Bet they don’t use electric outboards either.
