I commend this map to you

the teardrops are all films

the track is the track. If you open the image out to a full frame then you can move around the map and zoom in

my advice is to choose an area you know a little of or have read about and see if I have been fair in my impressions of the estuaries, rivers, islands and inlets where I have been.

Great Dylan, works a treat. A pleasure to revisit some of your earlier work, and see the sun shining.

It seems you’ve bumped a few videos off. What happened to the videos of tetney harbour getting there, getting soaked on the way in and watching the tide come in whist your boat was on the sand?

they are still on youtube – go to my videos page and type Tetney into the search function.

Are you saving the videos for around the west / Irish sea so you can ‘complete the trip’ later?”
I think you have an journey still to sell that make your stand out a little from the crowd.
    cheers warren

Hi Dylan is the adventure still ongoing or has the financial stress of it all brought it all to a halt?
    Cheers, Gary

Hi Dylan, I’ve just discovered your videos on YouTube whilst looking for advice on my first sailing boat.
I’m on a tight budget and your series has become my biggest inspiration to date as it proves that a modest sailing boat is still adventure-worthy! Ps. It was a bonus to discover that you sailed past my home (Goole) on your trip along the Ouse into York.

    Keep up the amazing work.

Hi Dylan, just wanted to tell you how much I’ve enjoyed watching all your videos, which come up remarkably well through the Apple TV YouTube app on a giant TV. Your photographic expertise shows up well, and the videos are superbly cut and very relaxing to watch. I used to plug mud from Walton-on-the-Naze (in a boat that drew 6 feet and went aground constantly), and then moved to your hated Hamble River. As a destination I’m sure it’s hopeless, but a pontoon at the very mouth of it is the very best place to sail from — by the time the fenders are retrieved you’re bang in the middle of the Solent with every destination option available. I moved to New Zealand twenty years ago so have missed out on all that time, but now I have myself a new boat and am whiling away the winter (here) watching your videos and learning the joys of sailing very slowly. My son has made me promise not to become an old git with a YouTube channel, but your inspiration may be too strong. They wouldn’t be as good as yours though. I have never been arsed to click on a PayPal button, but yours is the first…

Dylan…. I have watched ALL of your videos from the very start, as they were released. I have greatly enjoyed every moment and have preserved the lot on a library of flash drives for portability. I have pushed quite a lot of cheques your way over the years as I have been happy to help defray a few expenses and I hope there will be more videos and more cheques in the future. Peter (MOB).
