Summer Keeper for Katie L – Port Edgar or even a KTLer

I have been thinking about what do do with Katie L while I am on Harmony this summer and it occurred to me that there might be some-one around the Firth of Forth who would like to take her over for a year. I would rather see her used and loved rather than sitting under a tarp at the back of a Scottish boatyard. I would need to be happy that who-ever took her on was competent and would not trash her. he would also have to take over the costs for the coming year - they are not huge. The marina in Anstruther has been paid until mid April - she can go back into the harbour in the middle of September so she needs a warden and lover for between April 15th and Septmeber 15th. I would keep the Tohatsu but I would leave the very reliable Yamaha two stroke that came with her If you know of anyone who would enjoy her, insure her, look after her and take lots of pictures then let me know - otherwise she goes ashore somewhere probably at Port Edgar Dylan

    Hello Dylan,
I live in south Queensferry, just along from port Edgar where I sail – taking out friends’ boats because they have the money, but I have the time! However I have been thinking for a while about a boat of my own and my research into a hunter liberty brought me to your site which I have really enjoyed. If you are still looking for a keeper for Katie L, i would be delighted to pick up the costs to have the chance to potter about the forth with my wife and son this summer.

Hope I am not too late in replying, but could not see a date on your post.
Photos and blogs likely to be less adventurous – but might stretch to a tour of the fish and chip shops of fife!
    Best wishes

    Ben
