KeepTurningLeft Season 1 part 5 in low res Maldon Approaches

Maldon Approaches

              • The Blackwater estuary leads to Maldon - one of the gems of the East Coast. It is home to Thames barge repair yards where these brilliant workhorses of the North Sea are kept in working order. To drift in here and tie up in a mud berth among all this floating history is a real treat.

Above is a low bandwidth version of the film - designed to look good on a phone.
If you wish to see it in High Def on a decent screen then it will cost you $1.
If you buy the film it is yours in perpetuity, you can download it, give it to a friend or show it at a sailing club, you can chop it up into a new film, you can embed it in a sailing blog or forum or send the url of this page to a friend for him or her to enjoy it as a gift from you. All KTL films cost the same – some are short and some are long.

$1 to download or stream in HD

Really enjoying your lovely vids…atmospheric and very informative. One niggle…in the battle of Maldon the Saxons were the defenders. There’s a wonderful Anglo Saxon poem ‘The Battle of Maldon’. Tolkien used it as a source for one of the poems in ‘The Lord of the Rings’ …
