MOB better boat bunce bounce back

I have just driven up to Nairn - left home at 4.00am - got here at 4.00pm

Good thinking time.

I will be sailing for the next three weeks so buying a bigger boat will be on hold.  I will bounce the hypothecated voting donations back.

It was fun and raised  a potential £250 - however, as I am no closer to buying a better centaur than before the bizarre vote I will spend this evening bouncing it back

I can start looking again in October 10th  once Katie L is safely back in the garden

It was good fun ... thanks chaps.

Dylan, I am an old git who knows exactly what I am doing when I throw money towards a MOB sailing project. I gave the money on the basis that you can do what you like with it as I know the filming costs a bit and I like the films. I would be a little hurt if the money was now thrown back in my face for no good reason that I can think of.

    Sorry R

I did not want to take money for a better Centaur and then not deliver it.

I will not be at all insulted if you choose to throw the money back to me that I threw to you that you threw to me

I am assuming that Catspaw will have gone by the time I come south again

I did learn that films about sailing are more appreciated than those about fixing

Now listen here you galoot, I didn’t want a refund, I just want some more MOBsail-vids ® so I have sent it back! The weather looks like it may turn in your favour so please drag yourself away from the ‘Centaurs For Sale’ corner of t’interweb and get back to the job in hand. (c:

OK Fair enough, I got my refund, you are a man of your word. Thinking that most Mobs will re-bounce your bounce anyway, so I will wait for the next film and add it on then.. Looks like you have 250 more than your bank account says.

Hmmm. I’m one of the low-waged low-life scum who resents being screwed by the better-off unemployed, disability, carer brigade, theTV licence for…. Strictly and…there’s probably something else. Come the revolution etc. So when I willingly fling a tenner your way it’s a choice this time, and like the others I don’t care about linking it to camera bits, petrol, string, a bottle of wine, or dreamboats.Just stick it in the pot and carry on as long as you can.
Of course, advertising that you’ve got the support of people like us may not go down too well in the club house. So better keep it quiet eh.

Don’t know much about Sailfishz but “double bike carrier on stern”…. Could this be the start of the pedal powered outboard project…. ( See how I avoided any fossil fuel jokes?)

I too appreciate your willingness to refund the “voting money” we all sent to you. But I will send it back to you so you can use it wich way you want on your sailing project!

    cheers sven

right now the brokers seem to be slowing down the process and keeping themselves between me and the boat owner

this is a bit of a shame

buying a 3K boat does not really need an intermediary

Please keep the voting money I sent and put it toward whatever boat you get going forward.

speaking personally i find fixing films almost frustrating. everyone does things slightly different, and to be honest they are probably watched by people already doing the same thing anyway. hence people who enjoy sailing wanting to watch sailing films……

Here, here, I intend to do the same

I have just received a knee mail from PayPal warning me that they are about to pay you £5. For some reason my account is set up with this delay. I’ve had a brief go at changing it, but as I barely use it, and most internet sellers seem happy with it, I haven’t put in enough effort to be effective. Any road, please accept the cash for general fettling/purchasing/fast women/slow horses purposes. I am happily in the position of not really caring much about cash, indeed, I’d forgotten about it, and had assumed it had gone.

    Fair winds

    blimey Chris

thanks …. although I can happily bounce it back to you

but I cannot stop your paypal sending it

that has to be done from your end
