one of the things I love about the web is the way you can learn about the lives of other sailors
one of my favourites are these two people

they own mirror offshore and sail it on a lake in Sweden
they like their scenery, the enjoy their food they love a drink and the t boat has a bizarre colour scheme
here are the five films - it is a slice of simple sailing in Sweden
in this one they paint the boat black and white, tow it to the lake, use a main as a genoa

in this one they enjoy the food cave and meet a giant rib driver
they chat away to each other - not got a clue what they are saying
their rubbish outboard does not work so they get towed home
they buy another outoard - also rubbish

in part three they untangle some ropes and eat strange food, find a dinghy,

part 4
the read strange poems, watch the clouds, get a rope around the prop

Part 5 is the last sail of the season - chantrelles are consumed in large quantities

####ing hilarious, has to be ironic.
We are so laughing over this blog. We couldnt think our films would get so much attention. We started making films with the two small cameras last summer and when we saw that we got so much attention from Britain as we have an old English Mirror offshore we tried to make some explaining texts in English this year. We also had the thought that our Swedish nature might look a bit exotic. Our way of boatlife is not typical Swedish, our goal is not to go far and fast. The new outboard is working fine, in the beginning it didnt, but then we found out that if we took off the motor hood it got more cold air, its air-cooled. Also film number 6 is out and more will come we hope…
No matter what the nationality, cruising sailors all seem to be just a little bit batty dont they :-)… Lovely,, not sure about the frying pan full of orange peel though…..
Hi! Nice that you like films from the boatlife! :)
Just a little explanation of the orange stuff in the frying pan. Its a kind of mushroom that grows wild here in the forests if it cames rain in the second half of summer. I clean it with a new toothbrush and then we fry it. It tastes really good, its a delicasy.
