Today it was still too windy for sailing so we drove along the south shore of the Forth looking for good places to visit by boat once the weather relents - although we have two more days of strong winds to come.
Port Edgare is growing on me - There are some great boats and some trukly lovely period sheds
Quite a gaggle of boats there in pic 16 , looks like some local one design.
do they dry out? its a bit of a jammed up mooring arrangement?
Have you though of doing a trip up the canal to break up the monotony?
I remember waiting like that in the channel ports waiting to head back to UK after summer trips across the channel.

Looks distinctly N Berwick; Crolla’s ice cream van! Memories of childhood holidays, raspberry sauce, crabbing, and openair pool. The coloured doors where the dinghy park is were the changing rooms. Used to be lovely place, a bit commuter now. A walk up the Law is rewarding. Whale jaw bones might still be there?
I’ve sailed from Port Edger for six years now and have found the Forth a challenging and great learning body of water, ever changing in nature. Took the plung last summer and acquired a great Hunter Horizon 26. Loving the boat, Aries, I now want to go further afield so hunting YouTube brought me to Keepturningleft. After spending some hours of watching beautifully filmed and edited film moved over to your website. I love it, so professionally produced and honestly created to saling devotees.
Yes I will donate and follow faithfully.
Well done and thank you.
P.S. Major redevelopments at Port Edger include huge chandlery, restaurants and mooring facilities.
