Great choices of music with superb editing , you’ve jogged a few memories of days, and evenings, gone by..

For me the Season 3 film is quintessential “Keep Turning Left” , how it was back in the early days, I may have to re-watch the early films….again!

forget Scotland with it’s craggy cloak, “ Mud is all you Need”

    All the best

Surely the ultimate song about sailing is….Sailing by Christopher Cross.

Written by a sailor about sailing?
    Surprised you haven’t used it….yet!

As I have posted before the soundscape to your clips are always excellent.

Thinking getting the rights to you Cross’s SAILING will blow a large hole in his budget! ;-)

I can use almost any music – but… If I use music then youtube claims the rights to everything.

They own everything I have made over the past decade… it is the the way the system works

Season 3 film 1 is my favourite of all. Your early films have got me into sailing – I took my RYA level 2 and am now looking for my own ‘slug’. I am also a Cities of Foam fan now, and have been spreading their virtues on the internet.
    Thank you.

At 0:57 in the Westerly Centaur video… Who needs headsails!

I’m sure I’ve seen that boat in other videos. Do you know anything about it?

I saw it a couple of times – wonderful boat

it is an american designed boat and I have filmed a similar one coming up the Deben – it is a Freedom yacht

the astonishing thing about the scottich one is that it is owned by a couple with a golden retriever. The wife of the pair stays below all the time – watching telly and reading books – seldom comes out on deck – and a cat ketch like that can easily be sailed single handed. The two of them have come to a very good arrangement that obviously suits all three of them.
