Parts of the video reminded me of one of Compo’s adventures in ‘Last of The Summer Wine …..wellied feet stuck straight out.

I think that we share a joie de vie, a devil may care attitude towards adventure. High energy old blokes… very dangerous to be around.

The weather has been rubbish of late, so I was wondering if you had tried the eBike out in the rain, and how that went?

the bike was fine – I got soaked. When it rains I plan to wait or use the car instead. It has been cold recently but ten miles an hour on a bike is different from 30 miles an hour on a motorbike… so the cold seems easy enough to deal with.

Having the additional range will make exploring while tied-up at the pontoon more enjoyable. And it’ll reduce the anxiety that you’ve peddled too-far and can’t comfortably peddle-back to the boat after a long-day ashore….or for fetching the car from the last marina’s carpark.
