Impressive turn of speed you’ve got there, agreed it’s an ugly thing but it certainly pushes the boat along nicely,
Nice one !
It is as fast as I could want – the dinghy gets up on the plane very quickly with it. It will do about five miles at that speed.
I am amazed that they have managed to out-ugly a Honda
Try it on KTL in the well – pushes my Red Fox along OK (except against the tide in the Wash)
I had it running in the well yesterday. I will post the film. It will beat the tide here for 45 minutes before it runs out of steam.
Hi Dylan, silly question – on the Torqeedo, does the tiller hinge upwards? For example, if you had a stern seat in the dinghy, when the motor was tilted out of the water the tiller could hit the seat if it didn’t hinge up.All the pictures I have seen only show the tiller in the horizontal position, relative to the leg.Hope this makes sense.Thanks.
It does crank up – so when it tips and hits the dinghy seat it moves upwards
Many thanks, Dylan. I will definitely buy one – one day!
