Wind Flower – one more prospect

Robbo sent me some snaps of this old Centaur at the back of this place

It is the Portsmouth dry stack

here she is

I have no idea if this is a dead trail or not.... but as long as they keep coming to me then one of them will be the right boat

By the way... long shot I know... but the Polo has gone to the scrappy

so I am also on the lookout for some cheap, tatty, low hp wheels.  Polo, Fiesta, 205 preferred - willing to consider diesel

want to spend under 1K

2K for a boat, 1K for a car. Wonder what will you pay for a house?

It’s a shame to see boats neglected and abandoned, I bet a couple of hours with a pressure washer would achieve wonders mind!

I bought a neglected and unloved four berth Snapdragon which was in just this condition. Cockpit full of leaves and green slimy water to the top of the bridgedeck. Mast down, rigging in the water, afloat on a Thames mooring at Richmond Bridge. Home on a rented trailer, a good scrub down, tlc, more tlc etc…. result a fine sailing cruiser that gave our family years of happy sailing. Don’t judge a book by its cover.

in one of the shots it looks as though some-one had a go at cleaning it but lost the will to live half way through

Renault Megane Scenic ca. 1993 (I have to check exactly). Parked in my drive in Belgium but steering wheel on the right side. It also has the UK headlights pointing in the right direction (i.e. left) but they are in a box in my garage. Bigger than what you were looking for but it is fuel efficient and with the back seats removed it makes a great van to carry boat bits. Name your price but you have to come and collect, and this one cannot sail across the Channel. It will have to go on the Eurotunnel (which it did countless times).

    Thanks Luis

that is very good of you –
I used to drive a wrong sided Granada – lovely car to drive however, as I share the car with my teenagers and my daughter is a truly frightening driver at the best of times I fear I shall have to pass on your kind offer

You say that Wildflower is in the drystack – what a shame as seeing all those mobos in one place got me thinking about well placed explosives…………………………….? Couldn’t harm a” stick and rag craft thought!
