Mid winter sailing from Kip

The last rain of the day  ended at about 12.30 so I went out for a sail. The wind was gusting 30. The old Centaur lapped it up.

Pull a little mainsail out? To balance out that nicely reefed foresail. Looks great!

Glad to see you back on the water Dylan.

Having just seen the video and the pools of water on the floor.. My Centaur leaks from the same place. I think water pools between the rails of the sliding companionway hatch and drips through the joints in the woodwork.
But thats a guess as I have not been able to fix it yet.

I have spent bloomin ages poking around looking for it – can;t trace the blighter. I would rather have a leak that comes down than one that comes up from the bottom though

Very true. I am getting more water into the Boat from the top while out of the water on the hard than I had coming in from the bottom on the water. Everything is damp and i am struggling to keep the interior dry. I have a Tarpaulin over the boom and i am still getting rain coming in. I have had the headlining down to try and spot the leak but its definitely finding its way in next to the end of the rails that the companion way cover slides on. Where it starts from I can’t fathom.
